Welcoming AMSOIL to the Program!

We’re excited to officially partner with AMSOIL as a factory-supported team starting in 2026!

This one means a lot to us. My dad, Dave Mason Sr., started running AMSOIL in his ProTruck back in 2008. Long before this was a partnership, it was what we trusted in the truck. Over the years, through testing, racing, and a lot of miles in the desert, it’s been one of those things we never had to second guess.

Throughout my whole racing career [Limited Buggy, Pro Buggy, Class 10, Pro-2, Class 1, and now Trophy Truck] we’ve used AMSOIL in everything. At times we tested other products, but we always came back to what works: AMSOIL.

AMSOIL has been driving success with Mason Off Road for 18 years!

If you’ve spent any time around desert racing, you know how hard we are on equipment. Our new Danzio big block has to deal with high RPM, extreme heat, and constant abuse. Everything gets pushed to the limit, and oil is one of those things you can’t afford to get wrong.

From our experience and testing, AMSOIL just holds up. It maintains viscosity, keeps critical components protected, and doesn’t break down when temperatures get extremely high. That consistency is a big deal for us, especially in races where finishing strong comes down to reliability as much as speed.

To now be officially working with AMSOIL as a factory-supported team is awesome. They have been a big part of off road racing since the beginning, and I've raced in the AMSOIL Championship Off Road Series for the last 4 years. They are a highly-respected brand and I am honored that they have chosen to support us!

The engine oil and ATF aren’t new to us, they’ve been part of our program for a long time. That said, I’ve learned they make a lot more than I realized. Pretty much everything that goes into the race truck: brake fluid, power steering fluid, gear oil, grease, fuel additives (especially important in Baja), brake cleaner, chain lube, metal protectant.

Safe to say I’ll be running a lot of it in my personal truck and dirt bikes too.
