Dave Mason Jr.
Winning the first-ever CORR Trophy Kart race in 2006 is how Dave Mason Jr started his career in off-road. He advanced from there to find success in Limited Buggy, then to the Pro-Buggy class, where he won many races and was one of the most consistent podium finishers in the history of the division.
In 2020 Mason moved up to the premiere Pro-2 Class and then in 2021 won the Pro-2 Championship in the GAS Series driving his eBay Motors sponsored truck. In 2022 he brought his Pro-2 to the COR Midwest Series and had several top 5's.
In 2023 Mason teamed up with RaceCo Factory Honda to drive a Honda Talon 1000R in the Pro Stock SxS class. He finished the year with 2 Podiums and 1 Win at the Crandon World Championships. Plus 1 Podium in the Pro-2 at the Spring Cup Race in Crandon. For 2024, Mason returned to the Pro Buggy class and finished a solid year with 4 wins and 6 podiums.
In addition to short-course, Mason has become an accomplished desert racer. He competes regularly in the NORRA, SCORE and Best in the Desert Series. He Won the 2020 Parker 425 (3rd Overall), Won the NORRA 500 Overall in 2022 and 2023, and Won the NORRA Mexican 1000 in 2024 (3rd Overall). He also took home the special "King of the Beach" award at the NORRA 500 and finished a respectable 2nd in Class and 3rd Overall.
Now for 2025 Mason Jr. has stepped up to the top class of desert racing: Trophy Truck. He and his team field their Yokohama and Fuel Factory-supported Truck in the Unlimited Off Road Series and are fighting for a championship there, all while continuing to race the biggest short course races of the year in Pro-2 and Pro Buggy.
Dave Jr. enjoys traveling with his wife and young son. He can also be found competing in dirt bike racing events and unique dual sport rides around the USA and in Baja, Mexico.
