Dave Mason Jr. Drives eBay Motors to Victory in First Rounds of the New Great American Short Course

Dave Mason Jr. Stands at the Top of the Podium in Round 2 of the GAS Series

Dave Mason Jr. can add 'Pro2 Winner' to his rapidly growing off road racing resume. Mason drove the #65 eBay Motors Pro2 Truck to victory on Sunday in the newly formed Great American Short Course Series. Two rounds of racing were held at the San Bernardino Fairgrounds in Victorville, California.

Mason was the fast-time qualifier on Saturday's Round-1 event and finished on the podium in 2nd place. He started in the 2nd position for Sunday's Round-2 and won a hard-fought battle for the victory.

"I'm so, so, happy right now," expressed Mason after the big win. "I have to thank eBay Motors and such an amazing group of people that support me. I'm so grateful to get this win for eBay and our team. We spent a lot of time preparing and making changes from last year and it paid off."

Setting Fast Times at the Opening Rounds of the Great American Short Course

In addition to capturing his first Pro2 Win, Mason leaves the event as the championship points leader. Rounds 3 & 4 are scheduled for May 22nd and 23rd at the famed Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.
