Dave Mason Jr. and Pedal Commander Team Up for the Remainder of 2024!

Thursday July 25, 2024 - Lena, Wisconsin

Team Mason Off Road welcome the well-known company to their program and go on to win in Pro Buggy at the ERX Racing weekend!

"I've wanted to try Pedal Commander for a long time, and I'm excited to have one my truck!" said Dave Mason Jr. Pedal Commander makes throttle response controller products for most late model vehicles. When installed, it allows you to dial in the sensitivity level and responsiveness of your throttle pedal. "I have had a couple of Ford pickup trucks, like my current Ford Raptor, and on all of them I have felt that the throttle is pretty laggy. I mean the engines make good power, but you really have to put your foot down to get he truck going. With the Pedal Commander, I can set it to be way more responsive. It makes it much more fun to drive, on and off road!"

The new partnership was finalized just as the team arrived at ERX Motorpark for rounds 6 and 7 of the Championship Off Road Racing Series. Dave Jr. was able to bring home a Win on Friday (his second in a row), and a strong Second Place finish on Saturday.

"It feels good to win with the Pedal Commander logo on the car." said Dave Mason Jr. "I want to win every race I enter, but it means a lot to bring home the W for my new sponsor." The team's agreement takes them through the end of this year, and gives the team the opportunity to collaborate in many ways. "They have provided me with their products for all of my personal cars, plus we have a lot of content ideas we will be working together on. As a Pedal Commander athlete I get to join an elite group of racers and influencers all promoting this great brand."

Next on the schedule is the Dirt City Off Road National this weekend in Lena, Wisconsin. The team is prepared to compete against the best of the best in the Pro Buggy class, and hopes to keep the podium streak going. "My team and I have worked hard to dial this car in. The track here at Dirt City is very tight and technical., but I had good speed when we raced here earlier this season. It is hard to pass with these narrow turns, so track position is key. All I want is an opportunity for a smooth race, and to put on a good show for the fans out here".
